I have been a certified professional dog trainer since 2015 through Karen Pryor Academy. I have learned from many incredible legends in the industry such as Terry Ryan, Grisha Stewart, Dr. Ken and Debbie Martins, Dr. Susan Friedman and Jay Jack to name a few.

I have also been a part of some amazing projects, including consulting with Canada Post on dog safety and bite prevention, as well as working with the BC SPCA, and had the honour of being a part of bringing Fear Free Veterinary handling methods and certifications to the West Kootenays.

    I personally believe it is important to find methods that the humans feel comfortable with and are able to succeed at primarily, and then help the dog to learn and truly understand what they are being asked to do. The dog world could do with less "dogma" and judgment, and more support for personalized training.

 I currently live with two young border collies and an Australian Shepherd. My dogs and I compete in sheep herding in feild and arena trials, and enjoy training for scent work, agility and tricks.
