I am a Certified Training Partner with Karen Pryor Academy (KPA CTP - 2015). I have been teaching classes, private lessons, educational seminars and training interns since 2015. My specialty has been raising puppies from 8 weeks to 18 months, including specific skills such as recall, leash walking, greeting skills and basic manners.

   My teaching methods are rooted in empowerment and kindness, for all involved. They are fair, reward based and effective. I strive to explain things in a way everyone can understand whilst feeling safe, having fun, and ultimately gaining the skills to continue on independently.

   I started working with animals in 1999, beginning with horses and farm animals, and have been forever fascinated by animal behaviour and communication. 

​

   I took my first dog class in 2007, and have been hooked ever since. I have taken hundreds of classes and seminars, in multiple disciplines, from trainers, behavioural psychologists and coaches around the world. I currently live with my two herding dogs, horses, goats and chickens.

 

My dogs and I compete in herding and agility, and enjoy training for disk, Rally-O, and tricks.
